Anodizing — Color Fused Into the Metal
Anodizing is not a coating. It’s an electrochemical process that grows a transparent oxide layer from the aluminum itself, then seals color pigment inside. The result: color that lives in the metal, not on it.
Powder Coating — Uniform, Durable, Cost-Effective
Dry powder is electrostatically sprayed onto carbon steel and baked into a smooth, hard shell. The most versatile coloring method for steel — any color is achievable with excellent batch-to-batch consistency.
Electroplating — Mirror-Finish Metallic Color
A thin layer of metal (chrome, nickel, gold) is deposited onto zinc alloy parts through electrodeposition. The result is a reflective, jewelry-grade finish that screams luxury.

What is the difference between anodizing and powder coating?
Anodizing fuses color into the metal itself — it will never chip or peel. Powder coating applies a durable outer shell on steel. Anodizing suits aluminum; powder coating suits carbon steel.
Will the color stay consistent across production batches?
Yes. We maintain strict color calibration for each batch. Powder coating delivers the best batch-to-batch consistency. For anodizing, minor shade variation is inherent — we keep it within industry tolerance.
How durable are the colors?
Anodized color sits inside the oxide layer — it resists scratching and fading for years. Powder coating passes 500+ abrasion cycles. Electroplating offers a jewelry-grade finish but may wear faster under heavy friction.
Can I mix multiple colors on a single product?
Absolutely. Many clients use different colors on different parts — for example, matte black base with gold accents. We can combine anodizing, electroplating, and powder coating on one product.
Do you have standard colors in stock, or is everything custom?
We stock 20+ standard colors for anodized aluminum — including silver, black, space gray, rose gold, and navy blue. Custom Pantone-matched colors are also available, starting at 500 units MOQ.
